Our privacy policy explains what information is collected and how it is collected, used and shared by Eidetic with regard to the use of the Eidetic website site (located at www.eideticapp.com) and the Eidetic application for Apple's iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
Eidetic uses a third party service provider (Google Analytics) to collect non-personally-identifying analytical statistics and information about the behaviour of visitors to the website and users of the app.
This includes information such as browser type, operating system, screen resolution, service provider, language preference, referring site, approximate location (city level) and the date and time of each visitor request.
This information is used for analytical purposes so we can better understand what type of people visit our site, how they were referred to our site, where they're roughly located (at a city level), how they view the site and how they navigate the site.

The data collected includes: agent version, platform, SDK version, timestamp, API key (identifier for application), application version, device identifier, e.g., UDID, session start/stop time, locale (specific location where a given language is spoken), time zone, and network status (WiFi, etc.). The device identifier is hashed to a unique ID. Google Analytics will also see the IP address of the user when this information is sent.
This information is used for analytical purposes so we can better understand how users use Eidetic to provide us with some insight when making improvements.
All application data (that is the items you add to Eidetic such as numbers, facts and notes) is only stored locally on your device and iCloud, if you have it enabled on your account. For more information on iCloud security and privacy please see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4865
Eidetic accesses your address book if you add a 'Phone Number' item. Once you select a phone number only that number and the name of the contact it belongs to is stored in the database. Once the item is deleted from Eidetic all the contact information is removed permanently. We don't store any phone numbers outside of your device and Apple iCloud if enabled.
In addition to the Services we provide directly, we also use third party service providers (collectively referred to as "Third Party Services") who operate their own Privacy Policies. The Third Party Services we use we deem important to our effective operation.

Fabric SDK - provides us with the ability to capture and collect crash logs through the Crashlytics service and interact with the Twitter Platform for integration with Twitter if and when you choose to connect your Twitter account.
From time to time we may change our privacy policy and although these changes might be minor we encourage our users to check this page regularly. Any major changes of significant impact to our users will be communicated on the Eidetic site and in-app. By continuing to use Eidetic after those changes become effective, you are agreeing to be bound by the revised policy.
